Be sure to postmark your applications by July 1st to ensure that they are delivered in time and are in the running for Mission 1. Our team will begin contacting individuals and guardians starting after the 4th of July. As always, we base our flights on the policy of "First to apply, first to fly" with priority given to WWII veterans, terminally ill veterans, Korean War veterans, and Vietnam veterans in that order. Click HERE to view a tentative schedule of what you'll see on the trip and to find an application online. Don't have a printer? Contact our President & Director, Aaron Van Beek, at (712) 463-2020 to get one sent to you free of charge! We do ask that if you have been on an Honor Flight with another group to not apply as we want to get those that have not yet been to DC to see their memorials a chance - thank you.
Not a veteran? Get an application in the hands of one that you know! Want to help more? Come along as a GUARDIAN or send us a donation. Tours are simply not possible without public support. Prior to Honor Flight Network, our veterans had given up all hope of ever seeing their Memorials. Now they have hope – but time is not on our side. Please help us rewrite this final chapter of their lives. Our American Veterans deserve nothing less. Equal priority is given to any terminally ill veteran who has never visited their memorials. If America thought it was important to build a memorial to their service and sacrifice, Midwest Honor Flight believes it’s important for them to visit their memorial before it’s too late. This program operates on donations from organizations and individuals. Midwest Honor Flight is is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit. Please contribute to our mission, in support of our American Heroes! It costs about $750 to sponsor each veteran and they pay nothing out of pocket. This includes their flights, food, hotel for an evening, and transportation in DC. All donations are tax deductible.
Thank you all for your continued support of not only our organization but also our American Heroes!
One Final Tour with HONOR,
