Guardians are volunteers and are asked to make a donation of at least $753 to be sent to Midwest Honor Flight or given online (while it is appreciated, do not feel you need to cover the fees for donating online below):

Guardian Training Terms
I understand that Guardian Training is required for me to attend any Midwest Honor Flight Mission. My training must be current to the flight I attend and will adhere to the following Midwest Honor Flight Guardian Training Policies:
- If I live within the State of South Dakota or within 3 hours of either Rapid City, SD or Sioux Falls, SD, I must attend, in person, one of the live training dates that will be announced to me at the time of my selection.
- If I live outside of the 3 hours of either Rapid City, SD or Sioux Falls, SD, I must either attend a live training with the Midwest Honor Flight in person OR via a phone conference on one of the training dates in addition to completing a health examination and physical. It is my responsibility to schedule this examination in addition to any financial responsibilities associated with the screening. I will ensure that this process is completed two weeks prior to flight.
