IT’S TIME FOR TAKE OFF!

Event Flyer & Sponsorships

Join us on Saturday, June 5, 2027 for the first ABR 5K on the Runway! This event is like no other in the Aberdeen area. Participants get the rare opportunity to run on an active airport runway/taxiway, a truly one-of-a-kind experience!

This race is limited to the first 200 participants. There is no onsite registration. Registration opens January 15, 2027 at 12:00 AM (CT). Race Fee: $30 and includes includes a race shirt. Free parking is available.

Not in Aberdeen? Sign up for our Virtual 5K. You pick the path and run when it's convenient for you. We will mail you an awesome ABR 5K shirt with our finisher challenge coin in June.

The run benefits Midwest Honor Flight, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Veterans with respect, honor, and closure through an all-expense-paid trip to our nation's capital serving the state of South Dakota and areas of NW Iowa, NE Nebraska, and SW Minnesota.

NOTE: All children must be able to complete the course on their own. No strollers or baby carriers permitted.
